I have often been asked why I would choose to work with so many different carriers. Wouldn’t it be easy to just work with a few? It might be easier on an agent from a paperwork standpoint to only work with a few carriers, but from a service standpoint their job would be much harder. The thing I dislike the most about this business is not being able to provide my client with what they need. Working with a large number of carriers give me more options to present to my client making it unlikely I can’t find what they asked me for. Carriers often find a niche that they are very competitive in but in others areas they are not the best choice. The fact the I can pull from many different companies, even for the same family, means every product can be tailored to the needs of each individual client.
